Melissa Brooks, BSN, MA, MBA
Director of Nursing
Melissa came to Twelve Oaks in July of 2022 as the Director of Nursing after deciding to move to Florida to be close to the beach.Melissa began her career in nursing in 1995 with a BSN from McNeese State University. She found a love for mental health while working at an adolescent treatment center in Utah, where she became the Director of Nursing. Since then, she has worked as the Director of Nursing in mental health facilities for the last 20 years. She obtained her Master of Arts in Psychology and Counseling in 2005 from Louisiana Baptist University and her Master’s in Business Administration in 2014 from Western Governors University.
